Angre Kanhoji Samadhi is a lovely tourist destination in Alibaug. It was erected in honor of the legendary Maratha Admiral Kanhoji Angre. The samadhi has eight faces, and the sculptured pillars, though decrepit, stand sturdy. The main Chhatri, built on a black basalt base that has partially crumbled, exhibits the elegance of Maratha style building.
